Member of the Bureau (Secretary-General) of the SEEE - European Society of Ethnography and Education.

 

International expert for external assessment: Member of a team of external assessment and co-author of the preliminary and final evaluation reports of all the primary and pre-school programs of teacher education (both graduated and Master’s levels) of the Republic of the Lithuania, by invitation of the Studiu Kokibès Vertinimo Centras (Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education). The team was led by Gillian Hilton, from the United Kingdom, and was integrated by Jesus Maria Sousa, Portugal, Christopher Bezzina, Malta, Daina Liegeniece, Letónia and Vitaljia Graziene, Lithuania (2003).

 

Coordinator of the cycles of seminars, held in Brazil, for accessing University of Madeira’s Master and Doctoral Education programmes (Pedagogical Innovation).

Comenius 2,1 project: SCENARIO WRITING intensive course NR. 112590-CP-1-2003-1-NL-COMENIUS-C21,

European pilot-course - Training of School Educational Staff - in partnership with colleagues of eight nationalities, including planning, accomplishment and evaluation of the course Scenario Writing in Education, offered by the Socrates/Comenius courses catalogue for 50 participants (teachers, teacher educators, managers of schools and decision makers both at local and national level) coming from several countries of the Europe. The course took place in Vienna, Austria, as a course pilot, in October 2004. An association between the Windesheim University (coordinating institution), the Karel de Grote Hogeschool, the Educatieve Faculteit Amsterdam, the Wirtschaftsuniversitaet Wiena, the Carl von Ossietyky Universitaet Oldenburg, the Uppsala Universitet, the Middlesex University London, the Dolnoslaski Osrodek Doskonalenia Nauczycieli, Polónia and the University of Madeira
